Long before I saw Nancy Sinatra, “These Boots Were Made For Walking” struck a chord with me (and that was long before QT reintroduced her to the fanboys). I have seen many of her performances available on line now, but this one resonates in a particularly unique way. Lee Hazelwood was a treasure.
This song and performance is so innocent, and so not. It’s is joyful, yet corrupt. It speaks of a time when fun could be other things. Ah, they just don’t make them like they used to…

Through this interactive website, participants may drawn their own portrait of Johnny Cash to be integrated to a collective whole. As people all over the world contribute, the project will continue to evolve and grow, one frame at a time
