Okay, so yes, this is a commercial for Android, but it pretty darn amazing. I saw another projection mapping project about a year ago in NYC as part of the Vimeo Awards at the IAC center, and was blown away by that too.
Imagine a “festival” where a city had a multiple of these set up, all with a bit of an interlocking story to them. If I was opening a building, a museum show, or having some sort of city-wide event, I would want to have something like this as part of it.

Winner of The Student Academy Award. One of my fave shorts…
I can’t believe I have lived so long without having encountered this film before. It won an Oscar in 1973 for Best Animated Short. Even with the commercial interruption and poor resolution it made my list of Best Shorts ever. What’s on your list?Tweet
